Slum Survivor is a reality game where our youth group have the chance to experience a bit of what life is like for the one billion people on the planet who live in slums.
During the weekend of 13th - 15th of March 2009 they built and lived in their own slum house (built out of discarded materials) for a period of 48 hours.
They ate simple rationed food.
They faced restrictions in what clothing and personal items they could bring.
They competed in challenges that simulated aspects of slum life. These challenges tested their ingenuity, team skills and determination.
